So after some research here is the list of the top best, totally free, SEO tools of the current moment. (So no 30-day trials etc)
SEOBook is the creator of what must be one of the most popular tools among SEO’s: The SEO Toolbar FireFox extension. Some of the functionality and metrics included in this tool: Google PageRank, incoming link count, traffic estimates, rank-checker, on-page keyword analysis, nofollow link highlighting and more. The only downside is that the toolbar is only available for FireFox.
Furthermore they offer a whole bunch of web-based SEO tools.
Link-Assistant.com offers a software suite called SEO Power Suite. The suite consists of four programs, LinkAssistant, Rank Tracker, SEO SpyGlass and Website Auditor.
At a first glance it isn’t clear wether the Free license is time-limited, but this is in fact not the case.

As it is such a powerful tool we include it nonetheless.
